The OBHC Board is Now Accepting Board Member Applications
Okanogan Behavioral HealthCare (OBHC) is seeking volunteers to apply for the positions on our Board of Directors. The Board meets approximately one time per month, with occasional sub-committee meetings. The role of the Board is to act as the governing body with fiduciary and oversight responsibilities, to establish corporate management policies, provide direction to the CEO, and make decisions on major OBHC policy level issues.
Volunteers should reside within Okanogan County and have an interest in assisting OBHC in providing quality services to the community. We are seeking members that can provide an expertise and background in business, prevention, law enforcement, local government, health services, cultural and ethnic concerns, experience with specialty populations and/or service recipient, and education. Additionally, the Board is the chief local fundraising entity for the organization through personal contributions and their time and energy. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in significant decisions that contribute to the health, growth, and needs of our community. If you have any questions please contact Josie Bent at 509-826-8409.
