OBHC is dependable, transparent, accountable, collaborative and fiscally responsible so that we can provide care that is respectful, accessible, recovery-oriented, and high quality.

OUR STORY

Established in 2002, OBHC is a 501 (c) 3 Private Nonprofit Corporation providing behavioral health care services to a diverse population of about 43,000 people. We serve all Okanogan County residents, regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, disability, religion, creed, age, or sexual orientation.

Our range of professional services is designed to ensure that the level of care needed will be provided to everyone seeking our help.

  • Counseling

  • Case management

  • Developmental Disabilities information and referrals.

  • Substance Use Disorder/Opioid Use Disorder prevention, education, evaluation, treatment, management and recovery support

  • Shove House supportive housing for homeless individuals with mental health, substance use disorders, and/or developmental disabilities issues or concerns

  • Children and Adolescent services, including school-based onsite services and WISe (Wraparound Intensive Services)

  • Highland Center, drop in center where individuals can learn to manage their mental health, overcome substance use disorders and/or emotional trauma, and gain living skills, supportive relationships, therapeutic groups sessions, and other healing activities.

We Serve All of Okanogan County

Our services are offered to all residents of Okanogan County. We provide services from our offices in Omak, within most schools across the county, and via telehealth. Telehealth services are offered on a case-by-case basis depending on your specific needs. Those eligible for telehealth services are offered virtual services from their home, school, or a local “zoom room” depending on their location in the county.
