Evaluations

Our licensed staff is available to assist you in obtaining an alcohol/drug evaluation to determine treatment needs.  If you are ready to make a change, we are here to help with your recovery process.  Many of our patients are seeking a better lifestyle for themselves and their families.  For more information on how to get an evaluation or if you have been referred to us by the legal system, courts, lawyers, Department of Licensing, Child Protective Services or your employer, please call our front desk at 509-826-6191. 

Outpatient

Following an evaluation, your Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) will review treatment recommendations with you.  If appropriate, your treatment may include outpatient services, which involves individual and group sessions.   

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Your treatment plan may indicate a need for our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which is an alternative to inpatient treatment for some patients.  IOP consists of (72) hours of State certified and Agency approved education and group therapy sessions.  This program is accomplished by attending all treatment sessions in addition to individual counseling with a primary counselor and random urinalysis testing.  Dates and times of the IOP vary throughout the year.

Interim services are available to those patients waiting to enter inpatient treatment or are scheduled to attend an upcoming IOP session. OBHC also recommends attendance at self-help support groups.

Deferred Prosecution

OBHC has in place a 2 year program & court reporting system that meets the State Deferred Prosecution requirements

Information/Referral

At no charge, a confidential appointment can be scheduled to discuss any questions you may have about yourself or others regarding alcohol and/or drug related issues.

Relapse Prevention /Aftercare

This continuum of care is offered so each patient has a strong recovery system in place.  Aftercare group sessions are offered during the day and early evenings to assist patients with work schedules.

Alcohol/Drug Information School (A/DIS)

An (8-12) hour alcohol/drug education class is offered at various times throughout the year.  Both English and Spanish A/DIS classes are available. See the current ADIS schedule here.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Employers concerned about an employee may contact our agency at 509.826.6191 for more information on our referral process.

Community Education

Community Education is an important part of networking with our community to provide information and education regarding services we have to offer.  Our staff is available to speak at meetings, trainings, in-services, etc., upon request.

Bilingual Services

All services provided at our agency are also available in Spanish.
