“Every Step Matters” Community Carnival 2026

Event Recap

Okanogan Behavioral HealthCare is proud to share that the 2026 “Every Step Matters” Community Carnival was a tremendous success!

This annual event continues to grow, reflecting the incredible support, compassion, and engagement of our community as we celebrate National Recovery Month.

We are deeply grateful to the many community partner organizations that hosted booths and shared valuable resources, services, and encouragement with attendees throughout the day. Your commitment to supporting health, wellness, and recovery helps strengthen our community. A special thank you to Advance and Okanogan County Child Development Association - OCCDA for their outstanding partnership and support in providing event volunteers, as well as Advance's assistance with event preparations.

We are incredibly grateful for the dedicated volunteers who generously gave their time and energy to make this event a success, especially those who are personally navigating their own recovery journeys. Their willingness to serve and inspire others is a powerful reminder that recovery is possible and that no one has to walk the journey alone.

We were honored to hear from our guest speaker representing Narcotics Anonymous, whose message of hope, perseverance, and transformation resonated deeply with attendees and reinforced the importance of community support in recovery.

Thank you to every individual, family member, friend, neighbor, and community supporter who joined us. Your participation helped make this event a meaningful celebration of the resilience, courage, and determination of those working every day to build healthier lives.

As we recognize National Recovery Month, we celebrate the incredible steps people throughout our community are taking toward recovery, wellness, and healing. Together, we continue to build a stronger, more supportive community where hope thrives and recovery is celebrated.

We look forward to celebrating with you again next September!
